Our Aim:
Langstone Out of School Club is an independent body and not directly associated with the school but uses the premises, which it rents to provide childcare for parents of children attending Langstone Primary Academy.
Our primary aim is to provide a safe, friendly and welcoming environment through structured activities and a fully trained team of professionals. Through our activities, we aim to encourage confidence, independence and enjoyment for your child; and for you as parents, where you can relax in the knowledge that your child is being well cared for before and/or after the school day.
Your child’s safety is of the utmost importance to us and all of our practice is designed to safeguard the children attending the Club. Whilst we maintain confidentiality, we are under a duty to share information with other agencies if we have a serious safeguarding concern.
How it works:
BREAKFAST & AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
For KS1 (Year R to Year 2) the After School Club and Breakfast Club are based in the School Hall on the KS 1 site. Both clubs have access to the school Playground and Play trail for outdoor play. Children are collected and dropped off via the hall entrance on Ascot Road, PO3 6EY.
For KS2 (Year 3 to Year 6) the After School Club and Breakfast Club are based in the Huts on the school field on the KS2 site. Both clubs have access to the School Playground and the Field for outdoor play. Children are collected and dropped off via the KS2 main reception gate, PO3 6EZ, following round to the huts.
The Club is registered with OFSTED.
Both the Breakfast Club and After School Club are run by the Management Team of: Liz Breadner, Sara Chudley and Tracey Kelleher.
From time to time, the Team will consult with parents, carers, the school and the Local Authority in terms of hours, term time provision and any other issues requiring the support of the community. The Club's aim is to ensure that the provision is well-organised, efficient, run by professional trained staff to meet and expand the needs of the parents, carers and their children.
